To write a recount of our trip.

Yesterday year four went to the Science Museum. We travelled by coach for two hours because the Science Museum is a long way away in South Kensington. We got into groups of six and then set off.

Once we got there, we put our lunch bags in some big silver trolleys. When everyone put their lunches away, we saw a lady and leaded us to a room.

We went into a room called the Briefing room and the lady told us information about the Launch Pad because we were going there in a minute. She also introduced herself and welcomed us to the Science Museum. The lady said ''well that's all so let's go to the Launch Pad.'' So the lady leaded us to the Launch Pad.

In the Launch Pad was great! There was two separated room's and the first one we went into was really cool! You could make these really MASSIVE bubbles that floated in the air then POP! Also there was a machine just like a bike and when you rode it, there was a bar that rose up and up when you rode really fast! There was a massive telescope and you and your friends could look through each ends and you both would look really small to each other which was really cool! Now it was time to move over to the other room of the Launch Pad. This part was even better! There was this little bag which you would fill to the brim with these sort of lentils. Once you had filled it, you would pull it up, pull it a little bit more and all the lentils will fall all over you. Also there was blocks with numbers on them and you had to make a bridge out of them. If you walk round a bit, you would find a MASSIVE tube and if you shout through it, it makes the loudest echo ever!

Then, the announcer called Church fields Junior School to the basement for some lovely lunch. I had tuna pasta, carrot sticks, a summer berries Capri - sun and something called a brioche. My lunch was Marvelous! MMMmmmmm.......

After a while when everyone had finished their lunch, we set off walking again. We ended up and a Science show called : Flash, Bang, Wallop! Our class and another class had to sit on the carpet then the lady doing the show, told us to put our fingers in our ears when there is a load BANG and there is a fire exit in case there is a fire. First of all, she told us about something called the burning triangle and there was three things: Oxygen, Heat and Fuel. After that, she started showing fire. The lady asked for a volunteer and she chose Oliver peck in 4R. Oliver put a enormous glove,( It will be enormous on him because he is small.) then the lady put something called flash cotton and then lit it up with a lighter. All of a sudden there was a quick whisk of fire! Then the lady showed us some explosions. After that she shot Barbie out of a cannon. Poor Barbie!!! Then it was time to go from the show.

We walked until we got to the Materials Gallery. We all felt different kinds of materials. We went to a place called '' PLASTIC CITY.'' You could run through all these strips of red plastic! Really cool! We also wnt through a blue glass bridge which was great!

After a while, we went to a space exhibition with rockets, planets and loads and loads of space stuff. Also there was a pair of knickers in a glass box and it said: '' Going to the toilet in space.'' EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW! hehe.

Then when everyone was ready to move on, we went to a place called '' The secret life of home.'' First of all, we went to a bit with half a toiletand it showed you poo going into the toilet and it was gross! There was other winding up and winding down stuff and it was really fine.

Finally,we had a bit of time left to gto to the gift shop. I had £3.00 so i bought this little ball with goo inside it and phoebe in 4R burst it! Also i got a candy cane to eat on the way home.

Verry verry good story! I haven't been to the Science Museum and so when me and my family decide to go, i know what it is like. Good explanation but two spelling mistakes: the person who wrote it spelled went wnt! and also she for got to but a space in between two words! But apart from that, Lovely
